Inflammatory Pseudotumor of the Liver

Abstract
Inflammatory pseudotumor of the liver occurs throughout the body such as the lung, stomach, retroPeritoneum, ovary, kidney, orbit, spleen and brain1-". But hepatic
pseudotumor is rare be-
nign tumor which is usually diagnosed by laparotomy. Author experienced it in 46 male patient and treated it successfully by resection. It¢¥s main symptoms are intermittent high fever sustaining for 1 or 2 months, vague abdominal pain and weight loss. Histologic findings are mostly encapsulated solitary tumor, whorled laminated stroma, plasma cell, histiocyte infiltration and phlebitis of portal veins¢¥. Usually it has fair prognosis.
